Record Richmond Sale at Richmond Square
Hospitality entrepreneurs Bruce and Chyka Keebaugh — founders of The Big Group and known to many from Chyka's time on The Real Housewives of Melbourne — have set a new price record for Richmond, purchasing the penthouse atop Carmine House at Richmond Square for around $10 million.
The couple combined two three-bedroom apartments spanning the building's top two floors, prioritising city views and space to entertain. As Bruce Keebaugh told the AFR, the result gives them "really fabulous dining rooms and spaces to entertain."
The sale surpasses Richmond's previous benchmark, set by Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake's $7.435 million Rowena Parade sale in 2021, and follows a run of record-setting Fortis penthouse sales in Sydney, including a $24 million result in Rose Bay and a reported $50 million sale in Double Bay.
The deal was brokered by Christie's International Real Estate Victoria.
