The property at 61–63 Grange Road, owned by former Financial Review Young Rich Lister Guy King and his wife Liz, was purchased by a local Melbourne family following a highly competitive expressions of interest campaign.

The sale was negotiated by Sean Cussell and Marcus Heron of Christie's International Real Estate Victoria, who confirmed contracts had been exchanged after attracting significant local and international interest. The property was quoted between $30 million and $33 million.
The six-week campaign generated 25 private inspections and multiple offers, reflecting the strong demand for premium family homes in Melbourne's most sought-after suburbs.
According to Sean Cussell, limited supply, pent-up demand and growing interest from expatriate and overseas buyers continue to drive competition in the prestige market.
The result follows several notable luxury transactions across Melbourne, including major sales in South Yarra and Toorak, further reinforcing confidence in the city's high-end residential sector.
